IPCOM NV, a Belgium based group of European companies specialized in the distribution and conversion of insulation products, has acquired all shares of the Insulcon Group, a leading Dutch manufacturer and distributor of high temperature solutions for the process industry.

The acquisition of Insulcon fits in the strategy of Ipcom to grow and strengthen its position as a leading European provider of insulation products and solutions for the process and construction industry.

With c. €225 million in annual revenues, Ipcom today has strong market positions in Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Scandinavia, Austria, Hungary and Rumania, and is aiming to further strengthen and expand its activities in Europe.

Being part of the Ipcom Group, Insulcon will be able to continue its successful growth story of the last decades and deploy its full innovation potential within a rapidly changing and dynamic market environment. As before, Insulcon will be managed by Mr. Patrick R.B.A. Noppen and his skilled and experienced management team, supported by the Ipcom management.

The acquisition of Insulcon succeeds three acquisitions made by IPCOM earlier this year:

• Caremiso, a Belgian building insulation distributor located in Verviers, Wallonia
• Isoma, an Austrian technical insulation distributor located in Klagenfurt
• D.M.S., a Dutch distributor and installer of passive fire protection systems for buildings, public utilities and river cruise ships in Schaijk
