IPCOM Group has successfully acquired UK-based manufacturer AIS Technical

AIS Technical operates from two sites in North Tyneside, North East England, including a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility where it produces more than 70,000 insulation jacketing systems annually. The highly successful, multi-award-winning business sells in the UK and exports to key energy basins worldwide and has an annual turnover in excess of £5m.

Since its inception in 2007, AIS Technical has been at forefront of technical innovation in insulation and passive fire protection. Innovations which include the world’s thinnest and lightest fire protection insulation jacket able to withstand temperatures of up to 1,250 degrees centigrade for 90 minutes and award-winning, flexible insulation systems easily removed for maintenance.
