Your tasks & responsibilities
The Corporate Financial Controller ad interim will be assigned to a number of European companies in the IPCOM portfolio with the aim of coordinating and supporting the administrative and financial functions with the local Finance Leads. In addition and depending on the competences and experience of the Controller concerned, he/she may also be deployed in other central functions such as accounting, consolidation, treasury & cash management, taxation and M&A.
- Follow-up and coordination of the monthly financial closures of the units concerned as well as of the year-end closures
- Responsible for monthly internal business reporting of relevant units, including analysis, interpretation and documentation of monthly figures
- Further define and introduce KPI reporting
- Responsible for developing IPCOM margin reporting (Power BI) including price/volume/mix analyses
- Preparation of quarterly business reviews
- Preparation of BoD and shareholder meetings
- Coordination of annual budget process
- Assist in integration of financial reporting of new units.
- Ad hoc projects (investment analyses, ERP support and strategic initiatives)
- Depending on the expertise/experience and needs of the group, the controller may also be given responsibility over a number of central financial functions (accounting, consolidation, annual accounts, income taxes, VAT, legal, transfer pricing, financing, M&A, treasury and cash management)
Your profile
- Master’s degree (Applied economics, business engineer ....)
- 10-15 years' experience in similar polyvalent role in international environment
- Broad technical experience in various areas of financial management ; controlling, accounting, taxation, cash management, ERP set up, management reporting, financial process optimisation.
- Fluent in English and French - other languages is a plus
- Good knowledge of MS office applications (Power BI knowledge is plus)
- 'Systems minded' with deep interest in ERP environments
- Analytical
- Communicative and team player (necessary given the decentralised organisation)
- Hands-on and accountable
- Flexible and willing to travel
- Project management skills
- Pragmatic and can operate in decentralised organisation and 'entrepreneurial' culture.
